Didier Amir – Tambwe

Didier has a great background from Restaurant/Hotels hospitality and food retail of over 20 years.

He worked for world first class hotels both in the UK and the Middle East Dubai where he spent almost 5 years.
Didier has worked for Organisations such as W hotels London, Sheraton Grand Dubai and Jumeirah Group Dubai.

He started his working career as a Chef for Marco Pierre  in the late 90s at Criterion and Titanic Restaurants. 

Didier combined his passion for a good healthy food career with studying Political Economy with Third world Studies degree at University of East London.

After Graduation Didier pursued his ambition in hospitality further by joining two 5 stars hotels in the late 90s early 2000 as Chef at St Martins Lane and Sanderson Hotel.

Didier worked for the world well known Michelin starred Chef Alain Ducasse at Spoon at the Sanderson hotel before joining the Purchasing and Cost Control team at the same establishment. 

Didier was part of a successful food hall for 3 years in one the world’s best Retail companies.

Didier returned to the restaurant sector as Purchasing and Cost Manager at Swan the Shakespeare Globe from 2008 until 2010.

Didier has a wealth of experience in the food industry and has had a passion for the way food has evolved .
